Win or Lose is an American animated miniseries produced by Pixar Animation Studios as the studio's first fully original short-form series released on the Disney+ streaming service. Lasting 8 episodes from February 2025 to the following March, the show is set during the playoff and championship games of a youth softball team called the Pickles. Each episode takes place from the unique perspective of a character associated with the team, vividly focusing on their personal struggles in the week leading up to the championship game.
Coach's Kid (E01)
As Laurie's anxieties in being the least competent of the Pickles keep getting fed, an imaginary blob made out of her sweat called "Sweaty," grows bigger and heavier along with those anxieties, both causing Laurie to feel weighted down during the coming championship.
Home (E08)
Coach Dan's stress is visualized by his body frequently inflating with his pent up emotions. This ultimately results in him inflating to a gigantic, overbearing size as he struggles to keep the championship game under control.
