Batman: The Brave and the Bold is an animated series somewhat based on DC Comics' The Brave and the Bold comic series, which features two heroes working together. This cartoon aired on Cartoon Network from 2008 to 2011. It centers on Batman as he teams up with various (minor) heroes to thwart the villain in each episode.

As Plastic Man attempts to save Batman from the clutches of Gorilla Grodd, he stumbles upon the loot Grodd stole. Plastic Man's kleptomaniac behavior leads him to swallow the loot, which he later shoots at Grodd and his gorillas.
