Space Jam: A New Legacy is a 2021 American film produced by Warner Bros. and the standalone sequel to the 1996 film Space Jam. Like its predecessor, it is a mix of animation and live action starring the Looney Tunes and a basketball player, this time being LeBron James.
LeBron has trouble connecting with his son Dominic, who has no interest in a basketball career. During a visit to Warner Bros. Studio, they are pulled into the Serververse by a rogue AI called Al-G Rhythm. Al-G takes Dom hostage and challenges LeBron to a basketball game, granting their freedom if his team wins. LeBron then meets up with Bugs Bunny, who is the only resident in Tune World as Al-G persuaded the others to explore the Serververse. The two travel to the other worlds to recruit the Looney Tunes, beat Al-G's team, and stop his plans.
When LeBron falls into Tune World, he gets into a gag with Bugs, who references the Big Chungus meme (which is derived from the cartoon Wabbit Twouble).
Later, Bugs reinflates LeBron after he is squashed.
