Ratatouille is an American computer animated film created and produced by Pixar Animation Studios that released theatrically in June 2007. The film tells the story of a rat named Remy, who, with his heightened sense of taste and smell, aspires to be chef like his human idol, Chef Gusteau. Through a series of events, he is separated from his family and winds up at Gusteau’s restaurant in Paris, and with some help from a clumsy young man named Linguini, he creates exotic dishes that helps restore the restaurant’s dying reputation.
