Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (also known as Jimmy Neutron: The Movie) is a 2001 American film based on some Nickelodeon shorts. It's success led to a television series, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, which aired the next year.
At one point during the film, a news broadcast after the kids celebrating the disappearance of everyone's parents shows a young boy who regrets winning a cotton candy eating contest.
"And so..."
"We were gonna see who could eat the most cotton candy..."
Boy: "And I won!"
Boy: "I want my mommy!"
