The Powerpuff Girls is a cartoon series created by Craig McCracken, based on his CalArts student film Whoopass Stew, for Cartoon Network that originally aired from 1998 to 2005. It has spawned a theatrical feature film, an anime series and a CGI special that aired in January 2014. A reboot of the series was released in 2016.

Uh Oh Dynamo (S01E13)
A monster called the Fish Balloon Monster sucks a large amount of air, inflating himself into a gigantic size before attacking Townsville. The Powerpuff Girls uses a robotic vehicle called the Dynamo to fight the monster, destroying more parts of the city in the process. The girls then pop the monster by throwing three sharp gears shaped like ninja stars at his mouth, sending him flying into a giant statue resembling Mount Rushmore.
Beat Your Greens (S02E04a)
All the kids of Townsville battle alien vegetables by eating them. One boy gets too full after eating too many of them.
Imaginary Fiend (S02E09a)
To defeat the evil imaginary friend Patches, the girls create an imaginary friend of their own. After beating him up, she blows him up and sends him flying.
Candy is Dandy (S03E08a)
The Mayor and the girls end up bloated after eating the candy he shared with them as a reward.

The girls can't defeat the monster because it keeps absorbing energy, so they get it to eat Mojo Jojo's lair full of generators so it will stop.

The Gangreen Gang eat a lot of the candy they stole.
Snails Away! (Cartoon Network Action Pack #4, 2006)
The Rowdyruff Boys lose their snails (one of their components) after messing around with salt. After catching them, the boys eat them.

Professor Utonium realizes that he needs to exercise when he finds out he has grown a potbelly.
