Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is an RPG created by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems. It was released in 2012 and is the fourth installment in the Paper Mario series. On the night of the Sticker Fest in Mushroom Kingdom, the wish-granting Sticker Comet arrives. Bowser comes for the comet, resulting in it breaking apart and scattering the Royal Stickers. One Royal Sticker lands on Bowser, who becomes so powerful that even Mario can't stop him. With help from Kersti the sticker fairy, Mario sets out to collect all the Royal Stickers and save Princess Peach, whom Bowser has once again kidnapped.

At the beginning of Rumble Volcano, Kersti is eaten by Petey Pirahna, who is described as gluttonous in this game. His bloated belly isn't seen until the boss battle with him starts. After Petey does his spin attack, Mario can knock him over and attack his navel, making him spit out everything he has eaten (Jump stickers, Dry Bones, and finally Kersti).

Paper Mario: The Origami King

Paper Mario: The Origami King is the sixth entry in the Paper Mario series, released in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.

Early in the game, Mario needs to find four Shell Stones to gain entry to the Earth Vellumental temple. The Blue Shell Stone is eaten by a Cheep Cheep, forcing Mario to defeat it to gain the stone. The Cheep Cheep that has eaten the stone is rounder than the normal Cheep Cheep enemies.

Later, Mario and Olivia travel to the Water Vellumental temple, where they must fight the Water Vellumental. During the battle, the Water Vellumental will absorb water after every turn, inflating each time. When its belly is full, it will unleash a powerful wave attack. The only way to avoid this attack is by using the power of the Earth Vellumental to lift Mario above the tidal wave. The Water Vellumental can be refought any time at the Battle Lab in Toad Town.
