Mario Party is a series of multiplayer party games published by Nintendo, and developed by Hudson Soft, and later Nd Cube. In each game, up to four players traverse a board and try to gain the most Stars. Minigames are played after each player's turn is up, or during special events.
Mario Party
Mario Party is the first game in the series, released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64.
One of the special minigames is Balloon Burst. In this free-for-all game, each player must inflate a Bowser balloon until it bursts. The first player to burst their balloon wins.
Mario Party 2
Mario Party 2 is the second game in the series, released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.
Balloon Burst returns, but as a 2-vs-2 minigame. Like in its original incarnation, the team who bursts the Bowser balloon first wins.
