Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey is an American comic book series published by DC's Black Label Imprint, debuting roughly concurrently with the Birds of Prey live-action movie but functioning as a sequel to Palmiotti's run on Harley Quinn, carrying over characters and plot points introduced. In it, Harley, after a series of setbacks and tragedies in both her personal and "professional" life, is forced to temporarily return to Gotham City so that she can recoup her losses and rebuild back home in Coney Island – but, since the Joker has a standing bounty on her head if she ever steps foot inside city limits again, she'll have to try and rejoin her estranged allies the Birds of Prey if she wants to do business safely.
