No Food Allowed!? Yoshi's Tearful Big Diet Plan!! (Volume 2, Chapter 3)
Yoshi getting fat and weighing too much to beat a level.
Sailing Balloon Trip!? Fly in the Sky with a P-Balloon!!(Volume 6, Chapter 8)
Mario's party arrives at Tubular in the special zone and hits a ? Block, revealing a Power Balloon. The heroes collect it, turn into balloons, and float.
Mario's Free Time!! Oseibo Diet Strategy!!(Volume 7, Chapter 12)
Mario has gained weight, and his Oseibou From Princess Peach gets stolen by various enemies. He has to get it back, but first, he needs to get back into shape with the help of Yoshi and Birdo.
Chase the Fake Mario!! (Volume 29, Chapter 1)
A retelling of the beginning of Super Mario Sunshine, featuring the battle with Petey Piranha.
Revenge! Boss Pakkun (Volume 29, Chapter 4)
An adaptation of the rematch with Petey Piranha in Super Mario Sunshine. Just like in the game, Mario inflates a Poink before firing it at Petey Piranha.
Volume 32, Counting on you, Sushie
Sushie is depicted as a glutton who can’t stop snacking during their adventure. When she is roasted by the lava piranha, she donates her final Tidal Wave attack to Mario by inflating him with watery kisses, deflating herself in the process. Mis-star heals her with a kiss, which transforms her to an even fatter size.
Don't Give Up On Mizugami-sama's Trial!! (Volume 58, Chapter 18)
An adaptation of the Water Vellumental fight from Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Solve the Christmas Mystery!
Yoshi eats his Christmas cake in one bite, only to discover Mario and Luigi accidentally baked it with salt instead of sugar.
Super Mari-Old
Mario checks himself into hospital during a depressive episode, feeling too old and worn out to adventure anymore. Luigi and Yoshi are desperate to return to the manga’s usual gag format and cheer him up. Yoshi attempts to inject him with “joke spirit” by inflating him with a pump, but it has no effect on Mario’s temperament.
