The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show is a Netflix original animated series heavily inspired by the 2014 Dreamworks animated film Mr. Peabody & Sherman, which in turn was based on the characters from the cartoon segment Peabody's Improbable History from The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends. The show premiered in October 2015 and concluded with its final season in April 2017.

The show focuses on the titular duo of the vastly intelligent dog, Mr. Peabody, and his adopted boy, Sherman, hosting a variety show from their penthouse apartment with guest stars from various points throughout Earth’s history. Additionally, much like in the original cartoon series, segments detailing Mr. Peabody and Sherman’s journeys throughout history are also shown in each episode.
