The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends is an American animated variety television series produced by Jay Ward Productions that aired from November 1959 to June 1964. It has also been given several titles, such as Rocky and His Friends, The Bullwinkle Show, and simply Rocky and Bullwinkle. The main feature is the adventures of Rocket J. Squirrel and Bullwinkle J. Moose, told similarly to a radio serial show. Their adversaries are Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, two spies from the fictional Pottsylvania ordered to carry out fiendish plots. Being a variety show, there are also other segments. Peabody's Improbable History follows intelligent dog Mr. Peabody and his "pet boy" Sherman as they travel through time and give new reasons to iconic events in history. Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties follows a dimwitted Canadian Mountie who tries to capture the villain Snidely Whiplash. Fractured Fairy Tales re-tells fairy tales with added satire. Aesop and Son is similar but uses fables told by Aesop to teach his son Junior.
