The Wild Robot is an American animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation in September 2024, adapted from the children's novel series of the same name written by Peter Brown. The film's plot follows Roz, an all-purpose ROZZUM utility robot that accidentally ends up stranded on an island inhabited by wildlife. In adapting to her new surroundings, she adopts a newly hatched gosling she names "Brightbill". With help from a wisecracking fox named Fink and many of the other woodland creatures, Roz makes it her directive to help raise Brightbill into a fully independent goose.
In teaching Roz how to find food for Brightbill, Fink becomes bloated on all the food he first misleads Roz into retrieving for him.
