Kaiba is an anime television series created by Masaaki Yuasa and ran in 2008. In the show's universe, people's memories can be stored in chips, allowing them to live on after death and be placed into another body. This has led to a societal divide between the rich and the poor. A young man named Kaiba wakes up having lost his memories (including his name), but having a hole in his chest, a mark on his belly, and a pendant with a girl's picture inside. Given the name of Warp, he travels to different planets to remember who he and the girl are.
