Dororo is a manga series created by Osamu Tezuka that ran between 1967 and 1968. An anime series aired in April 1969 and concluded the following September. The premise follows Hyakkimaru, a man born without several body parts that have been replaced with magically forged prosthetics, and Dororo, a young thief who accompanies Hyakkimaru on his journeys of battling supernatural enemies.
