Vicky the Viking is a German/Austrian/Japanese animated television show based on Vicke Viking, a 1963 novel written by Runer Jonsson. It is also known as what influenced Eiichiro Oda to create One Piece. It follows the adventures of Vicky, the young son of Viking chief Halvar of the village Flake. Vicky lacks the bravery and strength other Vikings have, but his intelligence often solves the problems they face.
The Contest (E01)
Halvar recounts catching a wolf as a child, holding on tight as it tried to escape. He is pulled through a lake and is full of water after coming out.
The Enchanted Sword (E13)
Snorre fills with fresh water from the Vikings' last barrel after Tjure kicks him into it. This happens again when the barrel the Vikings fill later is broken.
The Winca Indian Treasure (E38)
As the Vikings and Native Americans celebrate together, Faxe and Snorre eat more than they ever have.
