Tiger Boy is a story written by Chloe Rayban and illustrated by John Prater. It is about a kid named Tim who loves tigers to the point of obsession. He soon learns that tigers were dying out around the world and he tries to tell his parents. Tim's mother warns him that he will turn into a tiger if he keeps obsessing over them, but the warning only gives him the idea that he should become a tiger. After talking with his Uncle Max, Tim does transform into a tiger, having the appearance and mannerisms of one.
After his doctor's visit, Tim wakes up hungry in the middle of the night. He ends up eating an entire raw leg of lamb that would have normally fed the whole family.
