The Strange Chores is an Australian animated series that premiered in 2019. It was created by Charlie Aspinwall and Daley Pearson. Two teenagers named Charlie and Pierce discover that the house of their neighbor Old Man Helsing holds a portal to supernatural worlds. Helsing himself is a monster-slayer, but feels he might have to stop because of his age. He takes on Charlie, Pierce, and the ghost girl Que as his apprentices, training them to become monster-slayers by giving them special chores.
