The Charm of Soul Pets is a webcomic adaptation of a web novel of the same name. It is set in a world where creatures called soul pets live. People are able to form soul pacts with them and fight others. The protagonist Chu Mu is kidnapped and sent to Nightmare Island as part of a murder plot. While there, he forms a soul pact with a Moonlight Fox, which he names Mo Xie. The two survive and grow stronger from many fights, and their journey soon continues beyond the island.
