The Animator's Survival Kit is an instruction book written by animator Richard Williams and published in 2001. There is also a DVD set. It gives a great amount of information about animation: its history, process, and how to make it move. It has seen much acclaim and use around the world.

In the section that talks about "Anticipation," a man blows up a balloon, but gets blown up himself.
