That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken) is a series of web novels created by Fuse in 2013. It was later made into light novels, a manga, and an anime. When corporate worker Satoru Mikami is murdered, he is reincarnated into a magical world as a slime. He also gains the "Predator" ability, which allows him to copy the appearance and skills of whatever he eats. He meets an imprisoned Storm Dragon named Veldora, who gives him the name Rimuru, and vows to free him for good. Rimuru stores the dragon inside him and sets off to find a solution, but this starts a chain of events that drastically changes this world.
