As an effort to help inspire other users to try their hand at contributing their own pages here, I have made a Javascript program that automatically creates the necessary source code for a new wiki page with some simple user input.

Even if you don't truly plan on adding anything new to the wiki right away, you can still try it out over here: https://codepen.io/Mothman64/full/ExpxjWo

Please understand that it's mostly just a template that's meant to help you get started. You'll still need to proof-read and edit the text it generates to make sure everything is filled out correctly and fit for the wiki.

Do let me know if there are any bugs in the program that I might've missed and I'll get them fixed as soon as possible.

Seems like a useful program. I'm more concerned that people won't proofread or get the right info beforehand.

As am I, but at least it can help the people that wish to take it seriously. :/

It's helpful for people like me who like to contribute to this site, but is a boomer on how exactly to do it.

Love it! I was actually considering making something similar in google sheets a while back!

I was also looking into the MediaWiki API - https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Edit It looks like it would be pretty doable to upgrade this thing to have a button to post the page - I might take a swing at adding that in on a new branch :o
