Forum - Expansion-related Fake Memories

I vaguely had a fake memory of Dragon Ball Z, where one scene had Bulma imagine a miniature version of herself in the palm of Freeza's hand inflating like a balloon before exploding in a puff of smoke before panicking while she was in a trench on Planet Namek.

Apologies for the thread bump but I remember a fake memory from a 12 or so year old vacation to Trinidad where in The Legend of Tarzan TV show, Tarzan's belly inflates to 3 times its normal size with a buzzing sound. Terk or some other loud voiced gorilla was shouting his/her remarks upon seeing the mysterious expansion.

Later in the episode, Jane and the still-ailing Tarzan cross a log bridge. I remember the buzzing sound persisting through that scene. I don't remember how Tarzan got back to normal but it turns out that this didn't happen in any Tarzan media at all.

The real scene might have been from the George of the Jungle episode called "Steve of the Jungle" but that was a second season of the show that aired in 2015 where I was finally able to remember and identify different shows properly. There was no way I watched that scene in 2015 so this was probably lost media that aired only in Trinidad and Tobago.

(By the way, I am not joking this time.)

I had a fake memory of Teen Titans Go!, where an episode involved Starfire’s nine stomachs growing bigger each time she eats a certain amount of food. Later on, she becomes the "Belly Monster" and rampages through Jump City devouring everything she sees until the Titans find some way to return her to normal.

I have a fake memory in Incredibles 2 where Violet Parr, after getting stood up by Tony, goes upstairs and downs the entire carton of ice cream in one sitting and gains a significant potbelly.

I remember a fake memory of Kirby: Right back at ya, where Dedede orders a monster that can steal powers even from Kirby, however, what he doesn't know is that the monster can transfer powers to another individual, at one point the monster accidentally transfers Kirby's power to tiff, she can't control the inhalation and she expands three times her size. another moment is with Gravity Falls S2 where a strange new food product appears in Gravity Falls in the form of a sweet sauce-like substance to put on anything, everyone gets addicted to it, and everyone becomes overweight, including Mabel and Wendy but things become strange however, when the villain reveals his plot to turn everyone in GF into large, gluttonous, reptilian monsters, it's to Dipper and Mabel to stop him. Another was on SVTFOE S2, where Star and Marco are thinking of a report for class for solving world hunger, star thinks of a solution, she accidentally creates a giant food monster made of nachos and candy. the two of them can't find a way to defeat it, they get the assistance of Jackie, Janna, and Tom to eat the whole monster. in the end, they got incredibly stuffed and bloated from scarfing up the monster. however, the worst part was at the end, where buff frog forced the five teens to exercise the weight off.

(I am surprised that I was able to bring this topic back to life, seeing as necroposting for any reason is generally frowned upon but I only wanted to share a fake memory here.)

I remember dreaming about a trailer for a 4th Madagascar film where we see Gloria fatter than usual, thanks to eating a ton of ice cream.

I remember having a dream about a fake scene in Unikitty! where Dr. Fox inflates to bursting from some kind of experiment. I've had separate dreams where Unikitty herself gets puffed up (I think one time she was in a space suit), but that's probably just because she's been my favorite inflatee since, like, 2017.

I recall dreaming something for a fake Kid Icarus anime (or anime 3DS short) that involved a Mik enemy growing to frightening proportions. Eventually, Pit defeats it after Palutena enlarges him for a behemoth battle. However, she ends up shrinking him down to the size of her pinky. It ends with Palutena frantically trying to find a cure while Pit starts eating a normal-sized cake slice and falls back with an overstuffed gut. He didn’t even make it halfway.
