There's this comic I saw a while ago that has weight gain in it, that for the life of me I cannot remember the name of. It's about this girl who lives in a creepy mansion with this equally creepy old guy, and he likes to recite shakespeare, in costume, while holding onto her the whole time ( essentially groping her). She's basically being held hostage there and can't get away from him, and so as a form of revenge she eats a lot of pastries and junk food that she snuck from the kitchen and gains weight and becomes too heavy for the creepy old guy to hold. The cover on that particular issue was of her in a dress wearing a flower crown, while desserts and pastries float above her head. Does anyone know of this comic? If you do, PLEASE let me know ASAP. Thank you.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and it's so frustrating that I can't remember the name, either. The most I can add is that I believe it was King Lear or (more likely) The Tempest that he was performing.

I think it was called Kid Lobotomy and it was in Issue #4.

In The Dandy 2003 Annual, there’s a nerdy character called Blinky who literally inflates himself to blow up a hot air balloon. It’s obviously dumb and the problem is I’m having trouble trying to find the images for it.

I grew up with The Dandy and am genuinely surprised that I have no memories of this particular instance. Not sure if I never got the 2003 Annual, or if it somehow slipped past me, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

You can buy it off eBay or two. Oh and do make sure to upload the images once you’ve scanned them. 😉
