Soup for One is a short rhyming book about counting to ten by Ethan Long. A bug finds a hot bowl of tomato soup for lunch and decides to swim in it, as well. Over time, more bugs show up and he angrily counts each one joining him. The lizard who owns the soup returns after ten bugs and he shoos away them all away. He quickly drinks his soup and then turns to the bugs for dessert.
