Skull Man is an anime series based on the manga written by Shotaro Ishinomori in January 1970 that was remade in 1998 and 2007, the latter made to accompany the series during its run from April to July 2007. It follows Hayato Mikogami and Kiriko Mamiya, a journalist and photographer who investigate murders supposedly committed by a man wearing a skull mask.
