Sherman's Lagoon is an American comic strip created by Jim Toomey. It first appeared in 1991 in the Escondido Times-Advocate and continues to run, having changed syndicates a few times. The setting is a fictional lagoon wherein lives the dimwitted great white shark Sherman. He has many misadventures alongside his controlling wife Megan, his friend Fillmore the sea turtle, and various other sea creatures.
