Samurai Champloo is an anime series that lasted from 2004 to 2005 with 26 episodes produced, developed by Manglobe and directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, known for his work on Cowboy Bebop. The lead character is Fuu, a 15-year-old girl who sets off across Japan in the Edo era to find the Sunflower Samurai with the help of her two companions, Mugen and Jin. As proven in three episodes, she for a short period of time becomes fatter than she should be whenever she eats a lot of food.

Stranger Searching (S01E06)

The trio enters an eating contest to win back their swords. Mugen falls backwards in defeat midway with a stuffed stomach, and Fuu becomes fat after accidentally forfeiting.

Bogus Booty (S01E15)

Fuu eats at Udon Noodles after making use of the sack of gold Jin discovered, feeling full for the first time in her life. When she becomes fat, she celebrates this with a ditty:

I'm so full, I'm so full,
I'm so full and it's no bull!
It's no bull, it's no bull,
It's no bull that I'm so full!
Don't be shy, my gut's not shot,
I can eat everything you got!

Unfortunately, she gets blocked by guards when she tries to catch up with Mugen and Jin, who are walking off, as no women are allowed. She slims down so that they do not recognize her.

Cosmic Collisions (S01E22)

Mugen eats many mushrooms that cause him and the others to hallucinate.

Baseball Blues (S01E23)

Mugen assures Fuu and Jin that they can afford twice the size of the meal Fuu ordered, but what he does not tell them is that they should run when they have finished, so Mugen leaves Jin and a fatter Fuu behind to be captured, eventually suffering the same fate.
