Rose Is Rose is an American syndicated comic strip written by Pat Brady and now currently drawn by Don Wimmer. The strip began syndication in April 1984.
The strip revolves around the life of the Gumbo family; primarily wife and husband, Rose and Jimbo, as well as their son, Pasquale, and pet cat, Peekaboo. A running gag in the series' earlier strips was Jimbo fantasizing about Rose being fat.
