Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water

Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water is an anime television series loosely based on the story of "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne. The show ran on the NHK-G network from April 1990 to April 1991. Taking place in an alternate version of 1889, a young girl of mysterious origins named Nadia joins up with Jean, a young inventor who helps her avoid jewel thieves after her pendant. They are recruited by Captain Nemo and soon join him in his battle against Neo-Atlantean forces bent on world domination.
