Mountain of Gems is a series of 13-minute short films, starting in 2005 and created by Alexander Tatarsky. The project involves various animators' own visions of Russian folk tales.

Based on the Ukranian fable, a fox is tricked into stealing from villagers by a thrush whose nest he knocked down, and gains weight from all their food.
