Monsters
Congalala
The Congalala is an ape-like creature that first appears in Monster Hunter 2, released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2 in Japan. This beast will inflate its stomach and release a poisonous fart, which will inflict various debuff effects on your party.
Zamtrios
Zamtrios are monsters that first appeared in Monster Hunter 4, released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013. One of the monsters you have to hunt, this shark-like creature can fill itself up with fluids to roll over and crush its prey. They are located in the Frozen Seaway and Arctic Ridge areas. A more dangerous variant, the Tigerstripe Zamtrios, appears in the Dunes area.
Great Jagras
Great Jagras is a wyvern monster that first appeared in Monster Hunter: World, released in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs. This monster can swallow other monsters whole, making it bloat up to a huge size. While bloated, it can use its large size to attack hunters, and even vomit its prey for a special attack.

Monster Hunter Stories is a spin-off RPG title, developed by Marvelous and released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2016. The Zamtrios appears as a monster that the Rider can tame. The Zamtrios's Kinship Attack causes it to inflate.
