MaraPets

MaraPets is a virtual pet website founded by Ian Smetham in 2004, being similar to Neopets. It started out as a Neopets guild called "Maraqua," which was quite popular. After this guild was frozen, Ian and co-founder Laimay created a new site for their members, leading to even more people joining. Users can care for pets, play games, and do a variety of other things.

One of the costumes a player can give to a pet is a "Fat Costume" received from the Obese Fairy, which makes the pets look dessert-themed, gluttonous, and fat.
