Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! is a romantic comedy light novel written by Takibi Amamori and illustrated by Imigimuru. It was first published in 2021, followed by a manga adaptation in 2022, and then an anime adaptation in 2024. Kazuhiko Nukumizu is a teenage boy and otaku who likes to read romance novels, but does not believe that he will fall in love. After he sees his classmate Anna Yanami get her heart broken by her crush, the two of them end up becoming friends. The same thing happens with two other heartbroken girls, Lemon Yakishio and Chika Komari.
