Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is a light novel series released in 2014, written by Kumanano. First published online on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, it received a print publication in 2015 with illustrations by 029. This was followed by a manga adaptation in 2018 and an anime adaptation in 2020. The series follows 15-year-old Yuna, a shut-in who obsessively plays the VRMMO game World Fantasy Online. She eventually receives a new in-game outfit, a bear suit that has overpowered abilities, but she finds it too embarrassing to wear. Suddenly, Yuna is transported into the game world with the bear suit on. She decides to live a new life in this world while wearing the suit at all times, as she is weak and vulnerable without it.
