Isekai de Tochi o Katte Noujou o Tsukurou (or Let's Buy the Land and Cultivate in Different World) is a light novel and manga written by Rokujuuyon Okazawa. It follows a man named Itonami Norio (later renaming himself Kidan), who was summoned along with other people to another world to help in a war. While the others receive useful skills from the gods, Norio does not and is deemed unfit for battle. He negotiates with the king and is given an empty plot of land with which he can do as he chooses. He then realizes that he actually received a skill that greatly raises the efficiency of whatever he holds. Using the skill for farming, he begins his new life, which involves marrying a mermaid and making unusual friends.
