Hoodwinked! is an American animated film released nationwide on January 13, 2006 by The Weinstein Company. It retells the story of Little Red Riding Hood in the form of a police investigation with each character explaining the story from their perspective with flashbacks.
The film's success led to the creation of a sequel entitled: Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil, which was heavily critiqued for being not as good as its predecessor.
