Hardee's is an American fast food restaurant chain. It is also owned by the same company that owns Carl's Jr., which has similar branding and shares some of the same menu items. It was founded in 1960 by Wilber Hardee, and it was expanded by James Gardner and Leonard Rawls after successful operation. Currently, many of its locations are in the United States' Southeast and Midwest. Some of its popular items are its biscuits made from scratch and the signature Thickburger.
