Hanamaru Kindergarten (Hanamaru Yōchien) is a manga series created by Yuto, running from 2006 to 2011. An anime adaptation produced by Gainax aired in 2010. The premise is that a kindergartener named Anzu is in love with her teacher, Naozumi Tsuchida. Despite Tsuchida being in love with fellow teacher Nanako Yamamoto, Anzu is determined to win his affection and marry him one day. She is helped by her friends Koume and Hiiragi in her efforts to win his heart, which always fail.
