Gregg's is a well-known food company throughout New Zealand and it is known for its coffee, desserts, and condiments. One of New Zealand's oldest food/beverage companies, the company has been in operation since 1861. Since 1925, the company operated out of the same factory in Dunedin North until 1972 when a second factory was created in East Tamaki Auckland. Back in 1984, Gregg's merged with the New Zealand arm of the international food company Cerebos to form Cerebos Gregg's Limited. This led to Gregg's becoming a subsidiary of Kraft Heinz when the company acquired most of Cerebos Pacific's food and coffee division in 2018.
