Grandpa was a British comic strip that ran in The Beano from 1955 until 1957 due to the series being terminated, and then relaunched for a second run in 1971 and ran until 1984, being drawn by Ken Reid (1955-1957), Robert Nixon and Jimmy Glen (second run). It was about the titular Grandpa who, despite being an old bearded man in his 80's, acts more like a mischievous child ala Dennis the Menace. Which - of course - has him at odds with his dad, an even older man with a longer beard.
