Gokudo, also known as Gokudo the Adventurer, is a series of light novels written by Usagi Nakamura between June 1991 and September 1999. It focuses on the adventures of antihero Gokudo, who comes across a genie named Djinn, that refuses to outright grant him his wishes, and the tomboyish princess Rubette, who starts to see him as a rival. It was then later adapted into an anime series that ran from April to September 1999.
