Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids
Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids is a long running American animated television series created and hosted by comedian Bill Cosby and produced by Filmation Studios, which aired on CBS or in syndication every year from 1972 to 1985 and had three different titles during its production history--Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (1972-1976), The New Fat Albert Show (1979-1981) and The Adventures of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (1984-1985). The show is based on Cosby's childhood memories of his adventures with his friends.
The New Fat Albert Show and The Adventures of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids featured regular cartoon-within-a-cartoon segments that included The Brown Hornet, about an African American superhero who fights villainy in outer space, and Legal Eagle, about a crime fighting eagle.
