Fantasmagorie

Fantasmagorie is a 1908 short film created by Émile Cohl and considered to be the first hand-drawn animated cartoon in history. It is composed of more than 700 drawings, each one shot onto negative film to give it a blackboard-like feel. It shows a clown and the environment around him constantly changing and morphing into other things.
