Even If You Slit My Mouth (Kuchi ga Saketemo Kimi ni wa) is a manga created by Akari Kajimoto, first serialized in Shonen Jump+ in November 2020. It is based on a short webcomic the author released in 2018. The main character is Miroku, the Kuchisake-onna (slit-mouthed woman) from Japanese urban legend. Over the years, people have stopped believing in her as much, which threatens to make her cease existing. To prolong her life, she is put into an engagement with 17-year-old Koichi Sano, whose clan manages superstition. While Miroku is displeased with this, Koichi is all for it, as he truly loves her.
