Dot and Keeto is the fifth film in the Dot series, directed by Yoram Gross and based on characters created by Ethel Pedley. Released in 1985, it portrays Dot as a live-action girl who turns animated when she eats a magical root that shrinks her to a microscopic size, allowing her to communicate with insects. She befriends a friendly mosquito named Keeto and his caterpillar friend, Butterwalk.
In their musical number, one of the cockroaches gets thrown by the others onto a loaf of bread, which he digs into, ending up stuffed as he rises up.
