Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (Houkago Teibo Nisshi) is a manga series created by Yasuyuki Kosaka. It has been running since February 2017, but went on a temporary hiatus in July 2020 due to flooding in Kosaka's home region, then again from November 2020 to April 2021. An anime adaptation aired in April 2020, but it was delayed to July because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main protagonist is Hina Tsurugi, a new high school student who has moved to a seaside town. Originally planning to join her school's Handicrafts Club, circumstances instead lead her to joining the Breakwater Club, which focuses on recreational fishing. Hina learns many things about fishing, seeing how fun it is and slowly getting over her discomfort with aquatic life.
Light Rock Fishing (E07)
Natsumi tells Hina that she could possibly drown while going light rock fishing.
