Chilly Willy is a cartoon character made by Walter Lantz Productions, inspired by Pablo the Penguin from The Three Caballeros. Short films were produced from 1953 to 1972 and the character became very popular, second to the studio's other character Woody Woodpecker. The stories usually revolve around the penguin trying to find warmth or food. He is often opposed by Smedley, a dog trying to do whatever job he has, as their goals go against each other.
