Bionic Max is a television series produced by Gaumont Animation. It follows a bionic guinea pig named Max and his best friend, the goldfish Jean-Claude (nicknamed JC). The two of them escape from the laboratory they were held in and fall into the town of Woodchuck Woods. Having little idea about the outside world, they try to fit in with the locals, getting into misadventures in the process.
