Between the Lions

Between the Lions is a puppet television series that ran for PBS Kids from 2000 to 2010. It focuses on a family of lions who run a library and their experiences in it. As the show is designed to help children learn about reading, it not only uses a variety of segments, but also features popular storybooks, folktales, and myths.

Farmer Ken's Puzzle (S01E04)

Lionel, Walter, and Clay play a game with a river crossing puzzle, in which they have to help a farmer get a cat, hen, and bag of seed across a river without any of them eating another. Their first try results in the cat eating the hen, while their second try results in the hen eating the seed.
